In order to boost its business efficiency, Rēzeknes dzi avnieks makes considerable investments every year. A 1.3M euro investment project was completed in 2016. It included the installation of new electronic rail weigh bridge, implementation of a new, more powerful grain dryer, renewal and organisation storehouses and areas for grain storing and improvement of the Company’s railway infrastructure.

These investments have allowed to:

• Increase total grain storage capacity to 80,000 tonnes,
• Boost the speed of receiving motor transportation from 12 to 15 transport units per hour,
• Elevate grain drying capacity from 40 to as much as 90 tonnes per hour,
• Accelerate grain loading into railway wagons from 30 to 50 wagons per 24 hours.
